Too often, we're caught in the hustle, aren't we? Life moves fast, and even within the Church, there's a pulse to push forward to grow, to be "relevant." But have we paused to ask ourselves what we're growing into? Have we measured the cost of relevance. If it comes at the expense of God's presence? Friends, a church may boast numbers and programs, but without the Spirit's presence, it's a hollow shell- there's no life, no transformation, no power to heal or set captives free.
God's heart isn't moved by the multitude: He's moved by those who seek Him with genuine, undistracted devotion. His presence is not some abstract theological concept to check off or relegate to a sermon. No, His presence is the heartbeat of the Church- it's the Glory that filled the Temple, the power that raised Christ from the dead, the very breath that sustains us. Without it, all our efforts are in vain.

But how many of us are truly willing to make room for Him? Do we even recognize the hunger gnawing in our spirits, that desperately thirst for something more real than the screens and sounds that fill our days? Or have we allowed our hearts to be lulled into complacency by a world content with cheap imitations? It's time we wake up, Church, and cry out with one voice: "God, we need Your Presence. More than we need our comforts, our programs, even our own ambitions- Lord, we need You."

The journey to His Presence is not always easy. It requires surrender, the letting go of our agendas, a tearing down of idols we didn't even know we worshiped. It's a stripping away, a refining fire that leaves us vulnerable and exposed, yet poised for a deeper encounter with the living God. When we come with open hands and surrendered hearts, He meets us. Friends, when He meets us, everything changes. In His presence, sin cannot stand, chains fall away, and the coldness of our hearts melts under the warmth of His love.
The call is simple yet profound: Seek Him. Pursue Him beyond the Sunday services, beyond the convenient moments. Let's build our lives around His Presence, not just with words, but with the passion and persistence that cries, "God, we won't go anywhere without You!" May we become, like God's people in the wilderness, a community marked not by our buildings or resources, but by the indwelling, transforming presence of the Almighty.
